The WNN RSS feed
The WNN RSS feed allows you to see the latest stories that have been added to the WNN website. RSS feeds are specially formatted web pages that can be read by RSS news readers or embedded into other web pages. There are many news feeds now available on the internet. By using a news reader you can see all your different news articles without having to go to all the individual websites.
How can I see the WNN RSS Feed?
You will need to use a piece of software called a news reader. The latest versions of web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Safari have RSS news readers built in. If you install a dedicated news reader on your computer it can save the stories so that you can read them even if you are not connected to the internet.
How you subscribe to the WNN RSS feed will depend on the type of software or web browser you chose to read them, you will need to consult the instructions associated with that product. Ways include dragging the URL of the feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.
In the case of Internet Explorer 7 you should drag the small orange RSS icon located at the bottom of our menu bar onto the RSS icon shown in the Internet Explorer menu bar, which will have turned from grey to orange to show that there is an RSS feed available on this page.
Internet Explorer will then open up the RSS page. At the top of the page will be the option “Subscribe to this feed”. When you click on this link Internet Explorer will ask you where you wish to save the WNN RSS feed. You can store different RSS feeds in different folders, just like when you store a bookmark.
Displaying the WNN RSS Feed on your website
The WNN RSS feed can be displayed as part of your website. As an example, there is a display of the latest WNN articles on the WNA homepage using the WNN RSS Feed. If you would like to make use of the WNN feed on your own website please contact the WNN.
